Samal Island is one of the most popular tourist spots in Davao Del Norte. It is 2 km away from the Mindanao's busiest metro, The Davao City. It is home to of over 30 resorts dotted in its white-sand beaches and islands like Kaputian Beach, Canibad Beach, Talikud Island, and many more, thus, the Island is labelled as the largest resort city in the Philippines. The best part of staying in Samal Island is the feeling of seclusion and privacy, as has fewer crowds compared to other resort cities in the Philippines. Aside from beautiful beaches, Samal Island tours also offers snorkeling, diving, jet skis, banana boats and many more as amenities. making it one of the best destinations for island hopping in the Philippines.



How to get there? If traveling by sea, you can take the Palboros passenger ferry boat to Kaputian Beach on Samal Island. • If traveling by bus, you can ride an Island City Express. This bus is also called as RoRo (Roll-on, roll-off), a trip taking you to Samal Island.
